Okay new here and I browsed around a bit, but I got a question.

I currently own a 4x f250 v10 and a 2wd excursion with a 5.4. Yes we have a junk commuter car we both drive to work .

Anyway I wanted to buy a system for the excursion as it sees the most around town and family trip driving with the kids 10-15 miles daily. I was thinking it would be cool to have the option to use it in the truck as well. It seems from the threads I have read most people are in the PHP camp and thumper is in the VMP camp.

Which of these would be best for me, or is there a better option?
Does anyone know what a 2wd excursion with a 5.4 gets for MPG?

excursion is an 04 and the superduty is 01. Now that you asked that I just realied based on the year groupings this may be a problem

 

I'll run it past Bill as soon as he's awake (he's going on SIX whole hours of sleep -- WOO HOO! -- ); I think we can help you with both vehicles.

 

I always recommend SCT's products. If you get rid of your vehicle, you'll be able to order new tunes and as long as the new vehicle has a ODBII port you'll be able to have a "new" programmer for your new vehicle. Why not just give Justin a call? I can promise you that you won't be disappointed.
