Superchips Question Again...

Is there anybody here with info on custom tunes for the 1714 Max Micro Tuner?

Shift points and pressure plate settings?

I have played around for some time and I dont want to press my luck now that my truck is almost out of warranty at almost 100,000.

Also does the 87 octane setting actually change the air/fuel ratio to a more rich number?
If not what is changed?

you run 87 octane to save gas?

a tuner like the superchips adjusts timing and maybe the a/f ratio slightly.

I'd run 91 or 93 octane with the apropriate and drive it easy if I wanted better gas mileage.

as far as perfomarnce goes set the shift points: 1-2@5300rpms, 2-3@5200rpms leave 3-4 alone.

the firmness is on you and your personal preference and IF your tranny clunks or not
