Custom Tunes

Ok I have read a bunch of threads giving good feedback for the custom tunes from Bill and the tunes from Justin! My questions are how accurate are these mail order tunes? As far as having my airfuel ratio correct and setting the programmer up to be compatible with future mods! I would love to get my truck dyno tuned but I don't know of a nearby shop that has a dyno! I would also prefer whoever I bought my tunes from to do the dynotuning themself since their the ones creating the tunes! Does anyone know of a place I could get my truck dyno tuned in Louisiana? Thanks for the help!

Pretty damn accurate. It'll be fine unless you have extensive mods. What kind of mods do you have?

None right now except for dual exhaust! All I want though is to get a programmer and a cold air intake that's about all the mod's I really want to do.

Than you'd be fine with a mail order tune. What intake were you going to get?

S&B it is then! On the tunes doesn't Bill sell the edge tuner and Justin sell's the Xcal3? I want to get 87 performance 87towing and 93 performance since our local gas station doesn't sell 91 octane fuel. Is it possible to get those tunes? Approximately how much would they cost? I don't wanna spend anymore than $450! Thanks fellas!

Bill sells the Gryphon which is the same hardware as the Edge, has the gauge monitor. It comes with the same canned tunes as the Edge, and then he will send you custom tunes later, based on your set up. I kept the canned 87 towing tune and got his 87 Performance and 93 Performance tunes. They are fantastic and that is from someone that was pretty happy with the canned tunes.

Justin sells the Xcal2 or Xcal3 for $395-$400 which includes any three custom tunes you want. The Gryphon is going to be around $500+ ..

Sorry for taking so long to reply my wife has been sick for the past week and I haven't had any time to get online! It appears that the Xcal3 with Justin's tune's is gonna be my choice! Yes I know that the Gryphon come's with guages but I don't need all that extra stuff!
