Kevin
I was just stating that my stuff is not ready and I paid.
The Xcal is useless to me with out a custom tune. Well I guess I did need it to get the stategy code off the truck.

But still I did pay and its not ready thats all I was saying.

sounds like TP should of held back and not charged you for the tunes until they are ready, and left you with a balance due.

How many weeks did he say in the beginning?

8 weeks and I didn't really worry about it till week 10 then called and was told by crystal 10 to 15 more days and that dead line was the 3rd so I called agian and was told they should be ready by the frist of next week. witch would be the 9th so we will see.

I don't mind waiting for a good product. but updates on delivery time are a must. The customer should never have to call you to see WTF.

I would think they would notice when they are getting behind and let customers know.

last time i added mods, the ported blower, mafxtender and 6lb lower, mike charged me bout that price to update my 3 tunes. think its just a charge for updating tunes for a new combo being for one or three. ive been tuned by mike from day one on my lightning and couple years on my previous f150. But charges like this will make you think bout looking elsewhere from time to time when you figure the wait in.

When have I ever been afraid to bash openly? Don't kid yourself.

I figured you wouldn't be able to contain yourself from trying to stir the pot. It's a shame. Have you called Mike yet?

A few months ago I paid Troyer ~$125 for an AF1 3-inch tube plus three adjusted tunes (already had 3.5-inch AF1 and tunes from him).

A week or two ago I paid $75 for a single tune from him.

Have no idea why the OP would have to pay $125 for a single tune if he already had full tunes from Troyer. Assuming the story is straight, I would be calling TP early Monday and getting an answer to that one. Unless Mike decided single tunes aren't all that profitable and very recently changed the price.

I’m not thumpe, you are; you’re the bash master; you just admitted it a post or two ago

If I were Mike, I would quote you about 2K apices because you're so nice and respectful of experience

Ok, Well I might as well share my story as well,

I found an xcal 2 form a user on here, Called up Troyer and he quoted me some BS price, I was stunned, I could have bought a Xcal2 from him with the tunes loaded onto it for the same price!

Then I started searching, and found out about VMP Tuning, (From Thump) Called Justin, looked at the website, and for 125.00 I got 3 custom tunes

Just to make sure I called back to Troyer, a day or two later and told him I wanted a 93 Octane Performance tune, He quoted me 125 as well, and said it would take about a month to get the tune!

The Next day I placed my order with VMP, and 10days later all 3 custom tunes were in my Email Inbox.....&.....Havent looked back since!

Thanks VMP for qualtiy, tunes, and a great price, and with out making me bend over and grab my ankles!

JPDadeo------- Your quick to jump on members who didnt go Troyer, Your azz must still be sore! It's ok though.... Ive heard it gets better as time goes on!

I disagree

Mike has been specializing tuning F150 for 14 years. The people you claim best in show are sugerfoots in comparison. I’m not bent out of shape in any way, I’m just trying to steer you to a good choice that may or may not be for you; do your research
