Not involving myself in any bashing
but
I'm curious, does the inflated price expedite the custom tunes faster??
that might be worth it??? if turn around was maybe 2 weeks?? apposed to everyones 3-4+ weeks..

Hmmm, well i can tell you i bought my xcal2 from a private buyer, and then 3 custom tunes from TP. i got all 3 of my tunes for almost as much as you're saying hes trying to sell you 1 tune. I don't really believe that, since i bought mine from the same vendor for way cheaper.

Well if Mike doesn't post a response in disbelief then believe it.

Thats a ton for a tune.

jpdadeo, read the thread dont just bash people for the sake of bashing them. The OP said he called TP and they were going to charge him $125, I am going to have to go with what the OP says. Thats the same thing Thump did. So chill the ***k out.

$125 for a tune , then you've got to pay in advance, and wait 12 weeks...no, make that 15 weeks...strike that, they've been busy, it'll be 26 weeks!! for delivery.

Troyer never makes you pay in advance! You pay when your stuff is ready. FYI!

I am raising the BS flag on you right there, Troyer doesn't charge $125 for one tune, maybe for three or four new tunes... I'm 100% positive there is more to this than you are posting.

We don't have Mike's side so who can we believe? I wonder who told the OP this? I'm betting it wasn't Mike, but still. Maybe you should call Mike and let him know that he should come on here and clear this up. I know Justin increased his prices from $50 to $59, maybe Troyer did, too.
