Tuning problem or Mechanical problem?

This morning before work i loaded up my Troyer 87 performance tune for the first time and when i went to lunch i noticed the check engine light on. I checked the code and it is P2004 - Intake Runner Stuck Open.

Could this be something caused by the tune that can be fixed by loading another tune or returning to stock or is it an actual mechanical fault that will need to be fixed?

Anyone have any suggestions?

I would return it to stock and see if it goes away first.

Return it to stock but I'm thinking it's a mechanical problem. Who knows.

I'm guessing the intake runner is the plate underneath the intake manifold, right? I'm assuming the plates are different than the Mustangs ... What I'm getting at is that it'd be a good mod to remove the butterflies and the motor ... Of course you'd need a tune for it, more so a dyno tune because I don't think many people have done it. I don't know why someone hasn't made a set of them for the trucks. The plates are available for the S197 Mustangs ...

I think you're thinking about assasinator who put the 5.4L in his Mustang or whatever.

unlike the mustangs the plates are built into the intake not a seperate bolt on piece like on the mustangs so it takes removing the plates and plastic welding the holes up. If not done correctly you can damage the intake.

Gotcha. I was wondering why more people haven't done it. I do remember assasinator doing that though.
