How Ironic is this, another 4.6 guy like me.

I had the same unit you are trying, but for the 04 F150.

87, is not much of a performance increase, that's basically just used to recalibrate the speedo for gears, tires, and to firm up the shifts, and allow you to raise the speed limiter/rev limiter. It MIGHT add a little hp/trq but nothing I could feel.

I got my CUSTOM TUNE from www.vmptuning.com, and with my 4.6, CAI, True Duals, I was out running my buddy in his 5.4 stock f150! It's not a secret around here but the Custom Tuned 91+ performance tunes give you the power of the 5.4 in stock from. Of course with in a week, my buddy had gotten a Hypertec tuner and I was back to finishing second. But Hell, second aint a bad finish............................................ Ohhh...... Wait, there was only two of us! Damn, that means I finished last!

Anyways, my custom tune on 93, and soem 4.10's and it's a dead heat!


THe tuner your using is a good tuner, but for max. performance save the money and get a Custom Tune!
