Interactive or passive tuners ???

Maybe it's just me, but being able to monitor my vehicle right down to the hundreths is not that important to me. Feeling and hearing how my vehicle is running, is close enough for me.

What I want in a tuner, is to be able to make permanent adjustments, like > more pep in town, better fuel efficiency on the highway, calibrated speedo / odo readings, adjusted shift points, etc.
Then, once I get it dialed in, I'd just as soon have the little LCD display mounted under my seat.

Which tuners are more passive, and which are more interactive ? .... And which do you prefer ?

Thanks,
Fish

I’ve been using the XCal and custom tunes since 04 when my truck was new It’s been set it and forget it; never had any problems, but now I’m addicted to the 93

The Xcal line up is more passive. The Edge, Gryphon and Livewire are interactive. My suggestion is to go with the Xcal2 with custom tunes from a place like VMPTuning.com !!
