Quick question for those with Edge and Custom tunes from PHP

I already have an Edge, but would like to order a Custom 87 Perf tune and 93 Perf tune....especially because I want to make sure that the truck will run ok with my K&N intake. I have been running on level 2 with it for quite some time and have had no issues, but would rather be on the safe side. Also, I don't ever tow so I would like to convert my level 2 to a perf tune instead.

Does PHP email you guys the tunes to upload yourself or do you have to send them your Edge to update it? I think thats my main question.

Thanks!

Yeah you will find out that Bill is great to deal with. He will email you your custom tunes when they are done. It is a very easy process.

Good morning!

The deal that we made with Edge requires that we have your unit in our hand so that it can be recased. This is to protect their CARB certification. With your intake, I think that custom tunes are a good idea, though I see that you've already found out that it's best to run level two since it runs richer.

If you decide that this is the route you'd like to take, fill in the Custom Order Form on our Products page, print it, and send it to us with your programmer. Turnaround time on shipping your Gryphon back out is about 2-3 days; the tunes are taking longer, and honestly, at this point, I'd rather not promise an ETA. The list of customers who have ordered custom tunes has, literally, doubled in the past couple of weeks. It's a huge blessing, but it does mean that our customers' wait is longer than we'd like.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help! I will def be looking into it very soon. I like my Edge a lot, but feel like it could be a bit better with some minor adjustments.

About a week for me, but I was out of town (and so were they).

The day I got it though, I was on the phone to him and we got it installed!

PHP - the confirmed that they recieved my fax for the tunes over 2 months ago in an e-mail reply. So your lucky with four days, i would have even been happy with 4 weeks, but it won't hit 3 months thats for sure. (aka i will start tuning myself as i have already been burned by RWTD and there 8 month bull****)

Have you called PHP about this? I doubt they want this kind of delay on their record, unless there is a valid reason.

I'll say though, you are the first one I've heard with a delay like this from PHP.

The wait time has been going up due to the number of orders they are receiving and other personal and business issues they have been dealing with. I think things are starting to come around and hopefully the wait times should be dropping or at least leveling out. I think it took around 10 days or so to get my tunes done, but I ordered within the first couple of weeks of them being offered. Bill and Corey are good people, don't be afraid to give them a call or send an email and see what's going on.
