I don't see why it wouldn't work. I believe it's the same tuning. Regardless have you thought about a custom tuned Xcal2?

Evolution. They emailed me back and said that the LT programing is different and they are not designed to support the programing..I have considered the Troyer but am uncertain if his will work with it.

VMP Tuning and Troyer are the same type of tuners. Custom tunes who tune using the SCT device. The SCT Xcal2, Xcal3, Livewire, etc will all work for your vehicle as long as you've got a custom tune for it. I suggest giving Justin at VMP a call unless you're okay waiting half of a year to get a tuner.

I agree. Justin tunes vehicles every day instead of doing it once a week like Mike does according to some people. Justin doesn't take months to send out tunes. Justin's tunes are just as good as Troyers and some people have even reported they like his tunes much better than Troyers. I've heard people complaining about mpg dropping with the addition of Troyers Performance tune, no one ever has that problem with VMP's tunes. I guess you're right they aren't the same. It's too bad you couldn't not stir the pot though. I had no intentions of it.

You never said they were the same, Thumper. Only that they "functioned" the same - providing custom tunes for the SCT device.

But, if just part of what you say is quoted, it looks like you said somethng else.

Just an observation, nothing else.

It's a shame that you can guide people since you've never tried anything else, probably. Nor have any information support that TP is better than VMP tunes.

One guy has a mustache, the other doesn't. Without mentioning names, that mullet hair is sooooo 1980's. A t-shirt with the sleeves cut off is a t-shirt with the sleeves cut off, not a tank top. One guy is about 35 pounds heavier (it's time to hit the gym dude). Without mentioning names, those acid wash denim blue jeans shorts are sooooo 1980's.
