x cal question?

I already have troyers tunes,87 perf.,89perf.and 93 perf. and i'm very happy with all of them. never use 89 or 93 anymore with gas @ 3.47/gallon!Is it possible to erase one of the tunes and get a tune from VMP? I'm really curious to see the difference between the 2 different tuners.

What a great idea! Almost a "head to head" competition! Call Justin and find out! (And, tell us what the result of the call is.)

Yes that's completely possible. Install Live Load from the CD that's included with your Xcal.

what cd?? I didn't get one. The plastic case mine came in was only molded big enough for the Xcal and cables, no room for a cd.

Save your Troyer tune and then over write that one with Justins. Your doing exactly what im in the process of doing right now. I have a edge and love it. I have Troyers tunes and love them also except for the extra gas they use and the way it shifts from 1st to 2nd.
Now im going to order from VMP Justin a 87 perf tune and see which i like best.

I would suggest that you have Troyer send your tune files to you via email, so you can have them saved in a safe place. LL3 is very easy to use, and I have tunes from two different tuners on my Xc2.

as ONELOAF says, you have to have your tunes in the proper format to save; you can’t just pull um off the XCal and save um

I run the Performance 87 tune and am very happy with it , I like the fact I can ajust the Parameters like WOT air fuel or shift points or firmess ,plus many more spark timing ect havent messed with those yeat.
the other 2 tunes are kind of wothless to me
Towing 87, while towing had great shift points even without the trailer there was not enought power after ering use to the performance tune.
Gas millage 87 not woth the money saved for the lack of power.
