Gryphon Wanted from PHP
What some of you may not realize is that it comes to you almost immediatly with canned tunes. The wait is only for the custom tunes. I drove my truck with the canned tunes for 30,000 plus miles and was totally satisfied. They are so much better than stock, it's amazing. The custom tunes just add to the performance. So, get the Gryphon and enjoy the canned tunes for the 4 to 6 weeks while you wait on the custom tunes. Even with the canned tunes, you won't want to go stock ever again.
I just thought of another time when we made the choice to do someone else's tune out of order. One of our customers had been waiting a few weeks when he found out that he was going to be deployed -- again -- to Iraq very shortly. Bill wrote the man's calibration and e-mailed it to him within a few days, I believe. Without hesitation, we would make the same choice. I just want to set the record straight!
So 55post waited 4 1/2 weeks for custom tunes. 29 php business days.
just trying get a grasp on how long my wait is going to be!
I was told "X" amount of time so I'm now expecting "XX" amount of time
and now with Corey publicly stating the fact that they move people up in line at times.. unfortunately I can foresee people exploiting that fact!

Congratulations! I bet you will love it! Ford should be ashamed for leaving so much potential out of these trucks.

Thanks, Jim.. and thanks for steering me toward the Gryphon instead of a CAI system. You should get a referral fee from PHP!
I'm still apprehensive about the install as I will have no idea what I'm doing... I hope the install instructions are very detailed!

i wouldnt worry about that, im sure they dont make exceptions that often.. i ordered mine yesterday and i am willing to wait the 3-4 weeks that i was told by corey.. from what i hear bill is the man when i comes to custom tunes for our trucks
im sure it will be worth the wait
Don't get me wrong I'm not knocking them for accomadating certain people, i actually comend them on it, it says alot about their companies down to earth mentality! buuut.. IMHO(no offense Corey) thats somehting that shouldn't be shared publicly. There are stalkers that read and don't post and study what we all say and jump at oportunities such as that!
I'm not sure when my order was officially placed but I'm somewheres in line with you probably bumping shoulders as we type..

Will hunt....
INSTALL:
!!EASY!!
new pod, or old pod.. its very simple. and yes the trickiest part is figuring out how to remove that panel but after you figure it out, you can remove it blindfolded everytime after!..

Graham,
I never had any intention of talking about ANY of the wait times of our customers on a public forum! I wasn't the one who started posting about helping customers out of turn. I just thought it would be wise to make it clear to others who are reading others' public posts on the forums that it is NOT the norm because it wouldn't be fair. As for others you might think will try to take advantage, trust me on this... it ain't gonna happen. I'm far more distrusting than Billy.
And honestly, when others have asked if we could move them, they've been very understanding when I explain our policy of first come first served.
And please let me point out to EVERYONE who has been reading posts about PHP -- especially this thread. We DO NOT begrudge anyone from posting anything negative about our company. Everyone has the right to state facts (as well as opinions, I guess -- ever hear the old adage that opionions are like [a body part]? Everyone's got one, and they all stink. LOL) Anyway... as much as we try to please everyone, there are always going to be some that we can't. We understand that. Free speech... it's right there in the Constitution.
And Graham, I know you mean well when you write "no offense, Corey," but honestly, it's not necessary. I'm not offended.
And as for the ETA you were told about your custom calibrations, you and I started e-mailing a few weeks ago. We received your programmer this week. Things have changed since then! Business is crazy! (In a good way) THAT is why your ETA has changed.

very nicely put Corey!
I read you from far away!
ADD/EDIT:
I have no problem waiting... some PEOPLE do, and when those PEOPLE see things such as order bumping, I see them jumping at the opportunity to grumble!
I'm just glad I finally got in on PHP's services when the going is good!
