I just got my truck custom tuned through sniper tuning. There is a guy I found locally that has been doing it for years personally and is now trying to go public. He started with tuning his mustang, and then his 03 supercharged expedition. It was a real cool process getting to watch everything. We rode around for probably an hour with his laptop plugged in to my truck and him recording everything my truck did. He fixed my truck from running rich from my CAI. I dont remember what it was, but the numbers at idle were -30 and they needed to be no lower then -10. I have 2 tunes, 87 and 93. He unlocked the torque converter and and bunch of other things. The power differences are amazing on just 87. To get my 93 tune done he had to get a different spark chart or something with spark. lol. I would recommend this guy to anyone, he is real fast at getting back to emails and can have your tunes very quickly. If you have any questions I will try to answer them or could contact him for you. Oh yeah and the sniper tuning box is able to hold 5 tunes and can program 2 different ford vehicles. From the mustang to a superduty.

Was his name Matt R? If so, yes, he can do tunes by email, since I have one of his tunes on the Expy. He also tuned my parent's F250 PSD.

You make them, depending on what you choose from the drop down menus.

Ok, for 2 tunes and the box it is about 400, depending on your situation and how much effort it takes. It is a simple box, just doesnt have a display. He uses the software above as well as some other sniper software. That link is just for the software i believe, not a tuner.

From him there are no "canned tunes" just tunes he created himself for many different vehicles that he tweaks from there. He adjusts for different mods that you have added.

Yes he can do it from email and the mail. He will ship you the box with the tunes loaded and detailed instructions. He will also email you a copy of the tunes so you can have a "backup".

He is really fast and I love the tunes. I should have my 93 tune already, just havnt checked my email.

And if you want a true custom tune, the drive would be worth it. He diagagnostics your truck as you drive it and then he can adjust from there. However if you just email him your specs he can go from there.

He just let me know when I got my 93 tune that he wants my truck to be the guiney pig when the new performance shop w/ dyno comes to town. The guy that tuned my truck is going to do all of their tunes.
