Back from the strip!!

Ok first run, ran on a customized level 2 with 93, and ran a 10.89 , but the IAT was 114 F when I staged . I packed the Intake with Ice, got it down to 82 F for my best run of 10.74 on a customized level 3. Didn't even try to launch in 2wd, but it would have been alot slower. I was hoping for my custom tune from Bill, but maybe next week.

Are we talking 1/8 mile here?

I have ran a for-real-deal 10.22 in the 1/4 mile, but that was on my motorcycle.

Just wondering how long you have been waiting for your tune? Just trying to see what the norm is, thank you.

Ordered it last Fri. I think, and Bill said he *should* have it done by tues., but he is a very busy man, and I understand, Bill usually takes 3-5 days for his stuff, troyer is 8 weeks. But yes I do launch in 4wd, in 2wd it spins and wheelhops for about 25 ft.

LOL! Same here I already have a 93 tune by bill and love it. Having him do a 87 performance tune for me now. We just hads 14" of snow last weekend. I told him no hurry since I mostly just drive on the weekends anway.

So where do you think you would be on the 1/4? I too have a 4.6 and hoping to install my 3.73 at the end of the month.

HI!... Not bad. Your 10.74 1/8 mile time would equal about a 16.75E.T in the 1/4 MILE.

Yea thats what gets me, my buddies Civic ran a 16.05 in the 1/4, and we are nose to nose to 100, my truck pulls up high (to bout 100) better than down low. My wonderful edge reads about a 15.8 1/4, and a 10.5 1/8, I have never trusted that thing though. But I hope to run it at Darlington in the 1/4 when I go to mustang week.
