Edge Gages?

I have read multiple posts about the edge custom tunes by Bill and that you loose the gauges on the edge. Why is that exactly? So basicly if I get a custom tune by Bill I upload the tune to the truck then unplug the Evo?

No, you upload the new tunes over the original edge tunes- but keep the gauges.

So I can still operate the EVO as if I were using the canned tunes?

The unit still functions 100% like it did before, except the "canned" tunes are replaced with customized versions. All the gauges still work and the custom options still work.

Would it be benificial if my truck is 100% stock with the exception of a Flowmaster 40 series muffler and a drop in K&M filter to get some custom tunes for the edge.
