Dunno... What's your original calbration? Knowing Ford, I'd be willing to bet there is at least 1, if not more, updates to the ECM.

Has original ECM calibration, never been reflashed...truck only has 27,000 miles on it...

Truck is in shop now being checked for any updates, just want to know if they are going to tell some bs that there is no calibration updates for it or not, but ford useally updates calibrations....

You don't have to worry about that. Ford Techs *LOVE* doing ECM updates. They get paid for an hour to do something that takes 10 mintues and the customer doesn't even have to pay for it. It's part of the emissions warranty. So it's a safe bet that if you go to the dealer it's gonna get a reflash, even if you *DON'T* want one.

The only way to know for sure is to find out what's in there now. You could already have the latest updates.

Just so you are aware, there are over 500 calibration files for the 04-08 F150 4.6 and 5.4. That's JUST F150, not Expy's or F250/350. Without more info, it's tough to say.

Well I have the Oasis report and it has never been reflashed since the truck left the assembly line.....

Man, 500 Calibrations files, why so many, never heard that before....

I wouldn't put alot of faith in Oasis. You'd be surprised what DOESN'T go in there. The only way to be 100% sure is to put a scan-tool on it, read the PCM calibratin ID and the check to see if it is or isn't the latest cal. Other than that, we can speculate about it all day long and not get anywhere.

Yea and if your not standing there with the tech, then I guess I will never know for sure....The truck has the slow pedal response deal and idles a little rough, but if rpm is raised 100rpm it idels perfect and runs great otherwise...
