What i need to know is which one (edge or xcal) is the easiest to use, most problem free and the least headache

 

Both are simple to use. I guess the problem free questions has to do with whether you are using custom tunes or "canned" tuning.

There have been complaints by some that the "canned" tunes in the Evo have had some issues. In most cases however, this is not the norm and the Evo will work with no problems.

I am sure there will soon be other posting their opinions and providing you with quality information.
