whats the differance between xcal2 and xcal3? what one would be better for my 04 fx4 ?

 

Xcal2 with custom tunes.

 

xcal3 can hold canned tunes, and is newer. Im sure there are other differences.

However, i agree with thumper, go with the xcal2. The xcal3 is very new and is having a few problems (like any other computer oriented product when first released).

 

The X3 is the newest flasher from SCT. It was necessary for SCT to introduce this product to support future vehicles with new processor types. The X3 does not add any significant end-user functionality over the tried and true X2.
