Diff between Xcal 2 and 3?

I'm looking into getting a Xcal for my 06 150 5.4. Was just wondering what's the difference between the Xcal 2 and 3? They are close in price. Seen some people with issues with the Xcal 3. What kinda of improvement will i see with custom tunes? I have a magnaflow muffler and an Airaid Jr. with stock sized tires for now. Will i need a new tune if i change tire size? How much would that cost?

Unless you find a X Call II (used) on eBay or the classifieds section here, all you can get are X Cal 3's now.

Xcal3 has canned tunes and can hold custom tunes also. You wont need a new tune to change tire size.

As long as the dealer has not locked out custom options you are able to program tire sizes with the X2.

The Xcal 3, besides coming with canned tunes you can use before receiving the custom tunes, has much more extensive datalogging capability.

That's probably only something you need if you're doing really extensive mods, but it's still nice to have that feature.. ya never know..

I love my Xcal 2, but I'm still thinking about getting a Scangauge just to have the displays. That's one good thing the Edge has.
