I was wanting feedback from anyone with Bill's custom tunes for F-150's. I have a good tuning basis, and know what i'm doing but want more info on his stuff, thanks.

I am very happy with my tunes. Give Bill a call and tell him what you are looking to do and he will take good care of you.

What is your tuning basis? Not pin-pointing you, I'm just curious.

Mostly Diesel tuning, building custom files for 6.0L PS with LOTS "Hey lets try this", and alot of research and listening. I am trying to learn more about the gas side, I went to UTI and took FORD FACT, have most of Ford's credentials, and have taken Nascar performance classes but that really didn't help me with EFI, just my old 64.5 mustang. Thanks.

How does this work with the Edge? Do you now have 4 tunes to choose from or does the custom tune replace lvl 1? Or is Bill just tweaking lvl 3,2,1 in the custom options???

From what I have read he actually can have up to 5 custom tunes+ stock. I was also wanting to see if he just modifies the parameters Edge allows.

There are custom setting that the user is able to set and there is custom tuning that Bill does. Two different things. When he does a custom tune, you download it over one of the canned tunes that comes with the Edge. You will still have 4 tunes, your stock, and then the 3 tunes. He can custom tune one, two or all three. I am thinking of getting his custom tow for 87, his custom performance for 87, and his custom performance for 93.

Most settings that are set by user in Evolution are WOT. Bill alters fuel and shift tables through the powerband. This is where 90+% of daily driving is done. It is a true custom tune (without having a Dyno). If you want more specific information give him a call. He would be the best one to tell you what he alters in his tunes. I can tell you as an end user I am very happy. Another thing that is nice is being able to Personalize the menu choices. Check my album for example. I have trans only - 87 Perf Tow and 91 Performance with slightly different labeling.

It depends on which version Edge you have. I have 3 lvls and had to use one of them for the custom tune. I threw out lvl1 keep the edge stock 2 and 3.
Certian version I beleive you can add on to. Not 100%.

Like bangingd said best thing to do is contact Bill he can answer all your questions.
