You can't "chip" a PPC ECU.

You're going to have to post more questions as well as what you are looking for if you intend to get a decent response to your question about tuners.

I would recommend custom tunes via the Xcal. That’s what I’ve been using on my 04 since it was new and everything has been all good

Me? I like plain old Lays, or maybe Nacho Cheese Doritos with a bowl of Onion Dip. (Okay, bad "CHIP" joke...)

As for Programmers, you can't go wrong with Troyer or Edge. VMP is quite popular as well, although I don't know much about them.

Good luck.

Bill

Go to the link I posted. Justin who owns and operates VMP Tuning sells the SCT product line up which includes the Xcal2, Xcal3, and Livewire. Give him a call and he'll explain to you the differences and answer any of your questions. Justin usually has a 2 week turn around time compared to Troyers 10 weeks.

I'd go with Troyer Performance Tuning via Xcal2 or Xcal3. When you fill out the custom worksheets, and answer the specific questions about your vehicle, you'll understand why he really is the best out there. There is a wait period, but it is well worth the best and safest power from these Fords.

Xcal3 comes with canned tunes to hold you over until you get your custom tunes.
