The transmission went out in my 96 Explorer when I had it, and I got a rebuilt transmission with a new torque converter and a shift kit. The OD light was flashing. When I took it to a tranny shop to have it tested I found out the Torque Converter was no good and got a new one. The problem stopped. I don't know if that helps or not. I know I had to have a tranny shop read my codes because your regular Auto Zone scanners wouldn't do.

That's funny, running circles around my car? Too bad you have no idea what my car has to be making those kind of statements.

That's nice that you like to just buy things on a whim, most of us research before we buy.
did you do research before you lifted your truck about how it would change the ride and the effort of getting in and our or the fact that it wont fit in a garage? Just asking, not taking a shot or anything, please dont take it that way i was just wanting to know.

Did you not see the comment about the Whipple?

Yes, I actually did do the research before I lifted BOTH of my F150s. The effort of getting in and out kind of changed when my back pain become much more severe from my injury, can't predict things like that. Not to mention, I just wanted to get into a car.

Do you really expect us to believe that Whipple needs your car to use as a test mule? Or that you have a Whipple installed on your car now and you haven't posted half a million times about it yet?

LOL.. I really don't give a damn about what you believe and what you don't. I never said I had a Whipple, I asked if he had not seen my comment about the Whipple meaning it'll be on there sooner than later.

Yes, you really did say you had a Whipple. Brotherdave linked to a post by you about what your car has, and you said "Did you not see the comment about the Whipple?", which implies that you have one.

Anyway, be sure to post pics of the Whipple installed on YOUR car. We'll be expecting them sooner than later.

No, that's just how you took it. Don't assume things.

Same reason why a lot of people are still here that don't own F150s anymore. BROTHERDAVE doesn't own a F150 anymore either. Why don't you ask him why he's still here? I'm still here because the information in the Chips & Tuning forum as well as the Detailing forum pertains to any vehicle.

It didn't effect my insurance.
that is because you didnt make a claim, you (or your dad) paid the expense out of pocket. $6k or so you say.

i am wondering why the supercharger was mentioned. my statement was i could run circles around you. for clarification, i meant today or in the near furture (lets call it a month).

real quick why mention the supercharger at this point it is irrellevent, wouldnt you agree?
Are you just trying to make yourself look good? because from were i sit you have a nice car, great parents and a future in their company, why lie about it? fact is, at the rate you spend money you probably will have a s/c, just not today

How in the world is that relevant?

Good job on using the Search function, I think you should be elected to teach the noobies how to use it. I know how to use the Search function, too. Now were you talking about your Firebird or your Brother's Firebird? I'd find it funny that you went to the track to run your Brother's Firebird, instead of your own. So who's car is it?
