Need help with Edge

I returned my truck back to stock last nite cause the truck was going in for service today.

I went ahead and updated the unit last nite since it was out. Went to plug it in, and all i have is a blank screen. the screen lights up, but nothing else.

Brought it back in and hooked it up to the computer, and i get an error about it could be in run mode, set as stock writer, or its memory is corrupted.

What are my options or can anyone help.

Give me a shout and I'll see what I can get going for you. Couple questions though...

What did you use to update? Lightning? Fusion?
What is the original version of the unit? (Check the sticker on the bottom of the Evo and write down everything)
If you can recall, what were the current versions you udated to? (Fusion may not have indicated if you did "quick update")

PM me the info and your number and I can give you a shout back.

Take care.

Bill

I am having this same issue. Can someone post or assist me with the fix?

A tiny question: Did you remember to turn the vehicke ignition to ON (don't start) BEFORE plugging the Edge in? It has to be done this way. I'm pretty sure plugging the Edge in and then turning the ignition ON can cause your symptoms.

Talking Wow

Called Bill, he got me fixed right up!

It had been running great for a year, but I reset to defaults, because I am taking my truck into ford for warranty work.

I am now updated and running my tune!

Thanks Bill.... what a resource!

Jesse
