I am getting ready to install a lift and larger wheels and tires (see signature below)...
Which stock tune on the EDGE is better for the larger wheels and tires? I have read on here that the Level II tune has more torque, is that true? Please give me an honest read on the EDGE and which level to run once I get all of this stuff installed. If there is a better torque curve with a specific level please let me know.
I have been running my truck on Level III for the past 18 months with absolutely no problems at all...even towing I have always left it on Level III.
Thanks for your time and expertise in advance.

Schmidtty,
With larger wheels and tires, the level 2 might run a touch better because the fuel curves are set up specifically for heavier loads (ie. just a tad richer than level 3) and there is slightly less timing to avoid detonation under heavier loads.
Of course this all depends as to what you are calling larger tires. 35's can actually run the level 3 program quite well and I that is what I used all the time. Now 36's and larger would really need to stay in the realm of level 2 or a customized level 3 that hase the fuel curves modified.
Hope this helps.

I also read a story by one of the 4X4 rags that actually tested the EDGE on a dyno and the Level III had a much better HP and TQ curves (and peak) than the Level II.
Thanks for your time.
