how long to switch

how long to switch

programs on tuners, edge, xcals? from like a 93 tow to a 93 performance?

To download the first time it takes about 5-7 minutes to save your stock tune. After that it is about 2-3 minutes. This is with an X-cal2 with custom tunes. I haven't timed it so this is just a rough estimate.

thats a pretty good estimate. i just loaded the 87 octane tune off of my x3 last week and it took about 6 or 7 minutes (give or take). then tonight when i filled up with 91 octane, i changed tunes while the gas was pumping

Yep, just switched from 93 perf. to 87 perf. with the Xcal 2 and it was about 4 minutes.

The initial download is the longest wait because it has to copy your stock tune to the Xcal. That one was about 9 minutes.

Yup mine was about 9-10 minute for the first install.

good to hear, i'm dealing on a new to me 04 f-150 and would program, and intake it right away. sometimes i end up pulling when i'm not planning on it, and didn't want to wait 20-30mins while i changed the program...

B4 you intake it , make sure you read about the CAI and Tuner compatibility issue, you might want to leave the stock intake system on , or get a custome tune
