Yes you can remove what is on the Xcal2, why would you want a can tune?

Because I bought the programmer used and do to the different strategy codes i cant use them on my truck. So i wanted to see if i could delete the old codes and install the canned tunes intill i receive my custom tunes. Canned tunes are better than no tunes.

You need to download the drivers for the xcal2 here http://sctflash.com/downloads.phpthis will help you hook it up to your computer to remove the files

There should be an option to dump what is on the Xcal2, can you get to the place where you see what tunes you have on it?

What do i look under to find the programs? I have installed everything off of the cd and the driver. When I plug the xcal into the computer the xcal 2 comes on and i can toggle through it just like when it is hooked up to the truck. Am i spose to find the tunes on the computer or somewhere on the xcal2.

Alright im starting to get pissed off with this thing. I have installed all the programs on both of my computers, and both computers recognize when the xcal2 is hooked up, plus the xcal starts, but i cant find out what programs are on it through the computer. Any help would be greatly apprecaited

I did read on the SCT site if your tuner is locked you may not be able to remove the tunes, I dont have my Xcal2 with me or I would get to mine and walk you thru it, did you get into live link? I think you can remove the tunes in the files there, or just call SCT they will tell you step by step
