this may sound stupid but when i correc tire and gear( i read you need to do both at same time) do you have to set that for every tune, or will the edge automaticly put that size and ratio on every tune?

 

You can save your custom settings in the Edge so it will load them into every tune.

 

You can load the settings that you used in the previous tune, and then build a new tune from there. You cannot save a "custom" tune to recall whenever you want. The only custom tune you get is the one you're currently running. If you create a custom tune and then "return to stock" for service, your custom settings are gone.

 

ok so i set it up for my tires on the number 2 setting. as long as i don't go back to stock it will save that custom tune for all 3 settings. correct?

 

As soon as you write a new program (tune), whether it's in the same level or a different level, all of the settings you previously wrote are gone, unless you choose "load previous settings" from the parameters menu. I've never tried it bouncing between levels, but I don't see why it shouldn't work.
