tuner question

ive read alot about the mike troyer tunes and they seem to be pritty good. I have a K&N CAI and Magnaflow exaust are there any other tuners that will work with what i have especially b/c of the CAI. Another question i have is about one of the superchip tuners i think it was called tirepaq and it said that it adjusted the shifting for the bigger tires or differant gears.
Thanks alot- Mike

Troyer tunes are the way to go. Call them up and they will answer any and all questions you have. They will tune for your intake and exhaust and I do beleive they can accomadate for tire sizes and gear changes. Just make sure you let them know what you have-all done on worksheets then send you prior to tuning. They do there tunes to whatever you tell them you have done to your truck

Whats the question about the tirepaq.... You kind of drift off. Any tuner will allow you to do everything the tire paq does. As far as changes to speedos and also tranny shift points. But they have the benifit of more power at only a fraction of the price more. I run a CAI with the edge and havn't had a problem although i have read people that get a lean combo with a CAI and Canned tunes. Although it is rare.

It wont change your power and in my mind no. I would spen a little extra nad get a programmer. What else are you planning on doing?

When do you plan to do that.

If its soon as in <1 year i would get costom tunes. If not then buy a tuner and see what happens. There selling so fast second hand you can pick one up somewhere!
