I plan on purchasing a X-3. I was wondering if I would need to get custom tunes or would the canned tunes work fine for me. I have a 2005 F-150 Lariat with flowmaster dual exhaust and a S&B CAI. I really do not plan on doing anything else at this time, but from what I reading the X-3 gives you the option to add custom tunes and also keep the canned tunes. I was not going to fork out the extra cash for custom tunes if they are not really needed. Any advice would be great.

 

I have the S&B and Magnaflow on a stock tune and it works pretty good but will not compare to a custom tune.
