Add Me To The List!!!!!!!

Yep, add me to the list. I just pulled the trigger and got a Troyer Tuner. I just got off the phone with Crystal. Looks like no more X-Cal II's I'll be getting a III. Not sure what the major differences are, but I look forward to it over my Edge tuner. And now.................

THE WAIT BEGINS!!!!!!

I have been waiting for about 3 weeks and can't wait to get my tunes and AF1 3.5". I had Troyer tunes on my 04 and now need them for my 07 F150. The tunes make a huge difference in acceleration and shifting. The wait is well worth it.

I can't get that Tom Petty song out of my head:

"The Waiting is the Hardest Part"

BTW? Any of you have the X-Cal III? I'm just curious as to what the difference between the II and III is? And don't any of you say: I

There seems to be a few of us leaving the Edge to join the Troyer crew. Any reason why you switched?

After hearing all of the members here that have Troyer tunes and how happy they are with them, I decided to go with them as well. I'll be honest, I've never had any issues with my Edge. It's worked fine since I bought it. I just really like the fact the the tunes are custom to my truck. Living here in Va. I should pay them a visit!

BTW? Any idea as to what I can sell my Edge for????

I bought mine for 250, but sold it for 300. I too joined the crew of previous edge owners to Troyer.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the Edge carry "canned" tunes vs. Troyer's "custom" tunes? And, doesn't Troyer adjust for aftermarket components vs. Edge is mostly for stock applications

I'm pretty sure if those are correct that could be a start

You are correct and that is the reason most switch. Then you have the other people who just keep throwing more performance parts into their trucks with no idea WTF they're doing to it or what can happen

You won't be dissapointed with Troyer's tunes. I had an XCAL 2 programmed by them when I had my last F150. I ended up buying an Edge just after buying the current truck since it is configured differently and those tunes probably wouldn't work. I'd like to either have Troyer reprogram my current XCAL 2 or maybe consider the XCAL 3, but not sure what the real difference between them is. I'd still keep my Edge hooked up, but only for monitoring temps.

This is a little off topic but I have a quick question. Do you pay the money up front or wait till your tunes are in?

Crystal told me that nothing would be charged to my CC until my tunes were ready and loaded then shipped. So.... In my case, I am not receiving my tunes or tuner till Troyer gets to it. That's ok though cause I still have my Edge in the meantime.

Guys,

What is the big difference between Troyer and Edge?

I have always heard and seen more of the Edge!
I am actually looking to get one at Christmas!
Gift to self!
