Launching

My question, what's the proper technique for a 0-60 launch with our trucks?

4.6L, 3.55 ls, running Troyer's 93 perf. tune..

Never cared or even wondered in the past with any auto trans vehicle I've owned..

Am I right in this thinking?..

OD off, left foot on brake, rev until it feels like ready to break the wheels loose and then go?

Are there any tricks or tips I'm unaware of?

What rpm should I look for at launch?

Thanks in advance!!

What rpm should I look for at launch?if you can do the this w/o spinning it's best to stab the throttle-when loading up these trannies[brake torque-ing]you'll get higher et's-phil

you dont need to turn the od off, it has nothing to do with a launch, let it go at around 1300
