Edge Evo

I Have An 04 Hertiage Edition 4.6 4x4 Im Wanting A Programer, And There Is A Lot Of Talk On This Product. My First Question Is Should I Order This For A 03 Or 04 Because I Have Ran Into This Problem Before. I Was Just Wanting To Know If This Is The Best Bang For My Buck? I Know This Might Be A Question That Some One Has Asked Before But Any Info Would Be Greatful.

If you have a heritage order the 03 version. Heritages were just leftover 03's with some fancy badges.

I Have a 04 Heritage XLT 4.6l 4x4, and I have been looking for a tuner also.
So I did a search here and came upon this thread.
Here's my experience with EDGE.
I emailed Edge sales dept. and asked if the 97-03 programmer will work on the 04 Heritge, they replyed and said YES it will work.
So I bought it, and had a problem with it, I then called Edge tech support and they told me that there isn't any Edge products that support the 04 Heritage and that they doubt that they will ever support that truck, due to the fact that there weren't that many made.
If you go to their website you will not be able to find any tuner that supports this truck.
avoid a magor headache and Call Edge tech support before you buy an edge tuner for the 04 Heritage.
I wish I had talked to tech support and not the sales dept.

Skip the Edge - for the same money you could be running true custom tuning via an Xcal2.

THAT's your best bang-fer-buck, period.

I repeat: Better Tuning for the Same Money. Clear?

And spare me the snot-nosed, instant-gratification BS about not wanting to wait a bit for the best, okay?
