I shouldn't have said that. But I will say that I think the dyno shop you went to has a very innaccurate dyno. My guess for your truck would be about 250ishRWHP. And that's being generous. Most likely clser to 240.

If he did the dyno run with those wheels and tires, I bet its a LOT closer to that 240 rwhp mark.

I had 147rwhp

I had lower numbers than you did so don't feel bad. I had 147rwhp with AF1 3.5, tune 93 perf, siso magnaflow exhaust. Mike from troyer perf guessed it was my IMRC valve was not opening, so starving it for air. I had no signs, it was bad except when I tryed to tow my camper. and it wouldn't tow it. Mike from troyer should remember me. The invoice in my gallery the corrections were made, Its under ""fender modification"".

Dyno Numbers

I don't have easy access to a dyno but the quarter mile times I am turning point to about 245 RWHP. I have used the Edge utility and several other utilities and they all ranged from an estimated 240 to 265. My best time has been 16.15 at 85.8 mph. I am running 3.55 gears with stock 235.70.17 tires so I shouldn't be getting any big tire loss. This was with Edge on stock level 2 with 93 octane and 71 degrees outside and no wheel spin.

here is the pic. they claim they they need more data logging to re do the tune. also they say it should be that rich at the start? thats why it doesnt go till 3200 rpm. plus on troyers paper they say to do a pull in 2nd gear.

The docs clearly state 2 pulls in 3rd gear, then one pull in 2nd.
This is only to get a complete set of data for as much of the rev range as possible. The 2nd gear pull is not where you will make the most accurate (power and other data) measurements. You need to be @ 1:1. You need the higher loading.

My A/f's sure didn't look like that at high RPM's ...

You and the dyno op may want to review TP's docs again; I'm looking at 'em right now, and that's how I interpret them, anyways ...

Good luck, man.

this is what it says"Therefore, the technique we suggest is to do 1 of your 3 dyno pulls in this manner (meaning a 3rd gear pull), and then the other 2 pulls in 2nd gear" the 3rd gear pull was over the place and made no sense.

Hmmm ... page 6, paragragh 2: two 3rd gear pulls, and one 2nd gear pull.

You got an old version of the docs or something?

Anyone else - crack open yer docs and confirm please - thanks!

Mebbe I needs new glasses LOL!

Luck.
