Edge Level 3!

Since I've had the Edge I have only run level 2 with 87 octane and was pretty happy with the added performance. Tonight I decided to finally try out level 3. Filled up the tank with some 93 octane and loaded a custom level 3 tune. All I can say is wow....def alot more power than level 2. Truck also seems to run a little smoother. Maybe the higher octane burning cleaner?

Anyway I can't see how people think that level 2 has more power. Level 3 seems that have just about as much take off power and way way more top end power for sure. Cruising on the highway at around 65-70 mph I could easily pass other cars when I hit the gas, without the truck's RPM's shooting through the roof!

Don't know if my fuel economy will improve any. Maybe if I can keep my foot out of it. I kinnda hope so cause I def want to keep running it this way, but gas prices suck!

Level 3 will spoil you! I get enough better mileage out of Level 3 to more than pay for the difference in price.

I have a lifted 2007 F150. Is it OK to run on Level 3? I have seen some posts where they say don't tow with level 3 because of the strain and it can mess up the trans. Is this true with lifted trucks because the 35's put a little more strain on the powertrain compared to stock? I know this wont be as much as compared to towing a trailer, but thought I would ask.

I love the thing and so far have had no problems with it. It's probably the best off the shelf tuner out there.

You should be able to run level 3 regardless of tire setup and lift. That doesn't really add the kind of strain on the vehicle that you get when towing something heavy. So if you tow yeah def use level 2, but otherwise it doesn't really matter.

I towed all the time on a custom level 3 tune with no problems whatsoever.
