Question Dashawk and Xcal ll

Going to get an Xcall ll and was wondering if the dashawk will work with it, and if so, is there a pod or pillar mount for the dashawk? Thanks!

That is the combo I have. I don't have a mount yet for mine, but I believe the edge pod will work.

I have that same setup. Works great, I really like the functions of the dashhawk with the power of the xcal II and yes the Edge pod will work for the dashhawk. Just call Edge and they will sell you one. I paid $50 for my pod from Edge. I was told that MSG and Edge were sister companys thats why they have no problem selling you there pod.

Here is an alternative mount system that may interest you, I bought a Scan gauge and mount from them and was totally satisfied the mount is high quality and easy to install, their service and shipping is great, definitely worth a look. http://www.mgtmotorsports.com/bmea.html

I have the dashhawk and xcal II and it's a fine set up. You can get the edge pod (not sold separately from the edge so you need to find somebody that didn't want theirs), but I only run my dashhawk while towing so I just have the wire run for it like you would for the edge and it just sits nicely on the dash while I am using it, no rattles or movement.

I did check out the scangauge but they didn't have tranny temps at the time so it wouldn't work for me.

Thanks for the info. I may definitly do that combo, though for as much money as I'll be spending, I'm also looking into the Livewire.

Thanks chucks. I'm having trouble with the site though. Is it really slow to load up? I still haven't been able to see what they offer.

Hi Mitch150,

Yes, you can easily do that, and we can provide you with both of those products, if you like - just give us a call.

Good luck!
