the level 2/ towing mode is made for 87 octane fuel and i was running 92 octane. For every octane oyu wnat to advance the timing by .5. So for 92 octane i moved it 2.5 and also changed my WOT to 160. I only got to play with it a bit and then i had to send it back to them. Hopefully i will get ti back before the weekend and will be able to try more. A lot of people commented that if they ran premium fuel that they would get a little better MPG and it would wieght the cost of it out. I can niether confirm nor deny this. I was trying it at differnt levels with difernt fuels and didn't have enough time. But i did notice more power with high octane,

In my 4.6l i have a ton of high end power but i lack the low end grunt. I prefered to run in level 2 because it gave it to me. I would think that if i had the 5.4 and had the low end covered that it would be a differnt story. Dont get me wrong. I did notcie an overall power differance between level two and three. But i prefered level two to my everyday driving needs.
It worked for me. Every truck is differnt though like im sure you konw. But i can tell you this. I was unable to get the rear end to break loose in a parking lot before and know i can do broadys all over. Thats proof enough for me.
I do know that a lot of people prefer level 2 when driving around town dooe to the low end of things and then the level3 on the highway
