Which Chip?

I have a 05 F150 FX4 with a 5.4. I have got a shop that has last years model SuperChip MAX Micro Tuner new in the box and will sell it to me for $175. Is there a better chip to use?

Hi huntnut,

Well, since you have a 2005 5.4 3V F-150, to get the best actual results I would recommend going with our custom tuning in the XCalibrator 2, which has more features than the Superchips unit has, and that way you will get far more in-depth tuning that delivers the best overall power, performance & driveability.

What I would suggest is to give us a call at our number listed below, & we'll be happy to go over the exact details of your specific vehicle, what modifications you have done if any, any other you may be planning, as well as how you use your vehicle etc., and we can tell you exactly what we can do for your vehicle, and which product we would recommend to use - we carry most products on the market, so we can supply you with all the the best quality units.

Just remember that to get the best actual results, you'll want to go with our custom tuning, as that is far more in-depth and delivers the best results.

I hope that brief info helps & please feel free to give us a call at our number listed below & we'll be happy to go over all of this with you.

Thanks for your post, & best of luck with your truck!
