Edge Alarm settings?

I have the Edge 2100 programmer for my truck and wanted to ask about the stock settings for the alarms. With summer coming up I wanted to watch the CHT to what kind of range they run in at 85 F out side temp and what it is like this summer pulling a boat and with the outside temp 100+. My CHT temp has been going to 208 after start up and ones the thermostat opens it drops back to 194-200, that sounds about right to me…. But the stock setting for both the motor temp and the cylinder head temp alarms are at 200. Does that seem Low to anyone. I have bumped them both to 215 and would like to know if that TO HIGH. I know if they get to that range I need to show it down or pull off in some shade FAST!

Thanks!

Brett

I'm not sure, but I think I've read somewhere on here that the best temp range for our engines is between 190 and 210. I wouldn't worry about it, 215 is probably a good warning to set. If you're really worried about cooling I'd buy an Efan setup, it'll lower your temp and free up some HP. good luck

Thanks... i was thinking a Warning for 200 on both was kind of low. i am planning on doing a e-fan and a cold air. just have not had the time.
