ford focus?
Hi.
Try asking SCT.
I had a look over there and all they list in a Focus is up to 2003.
On the Livewire forum, there are a few posts of Focus PCM conflicts.
Go get your PCM code & call 'em: Phone: 407.774.2447
or email them: support@sctflash.com

Hi jmt,
The LiveWire is a great tool, but before ordering it, I suggest giving us a call so we can get some specific info about your Focus, and let you know if now is the time to pick up the LiveWire for a Focus specifically.
I say that simply because there are a few Focus strategies that the LiveWire has had an issue with, and I'm not sure if all of that has been taken care of by now - I know of a couple of instances where there was an issue - see, the Focus is a bit of a non-standard, so to speak, it has always required quite a bit of difference in the hardware & firmware as well as software to be able to tune them and flash the PCM properly - even at Ford dealerships they aren't fond of updating Focus vehicles with the WDS, for example, it's just a bit of a different breed, so to speak, in terms of the powertrain controls. For example, they have always tended to take longer to flash them, and have had several different PCM types, etc., as it's a "world car" - you see it in European versions and in other versions that differer from other FoMoCo vehicles sold overseas in some aspects.
Now of course the XCalibrator 2 can easily handle the Focus, but it too, had to go thru a period of time to do teh Focus vehicles properly when it came out, too. We'd want to know your PCM's strategy, etc., before we would say OK, now is the time to order a LiveWire for a Focus, that's all.
The Focus is the only vehicle I am aware of that potentially has a problem with LiveWire right now, the few other issues have pretty much been taken care of and darned quickly, I have to say in our experience and it currently working very nicely with the current LiveWire's firmware, etc.
Anyway I'd say to call us with some info on your vehicle before we would want to tell you yes, go ahead and get the LiveWire - so just give us a call at our number listed below & we'll be happy to get you that info, if you like.
