Edge Evolution Programmer

I just bought the Evolution for my 1999 F-150 4.6 V8 and I want to know how to get the most out of the programmer. I've experienced some gains but I've barely scraped the surface of the evolution's features and different setups. If anybody has some tips that would help.

make sure your gear ratio and tire circumfrance are correct for whatever tune you're using, that made quite a difference on mine since the default gear was a 3.31 and tire was like a 235 when I'm running 3.55 and 265's (for now). other than that I'd stay away from changing too many things untill you drive it for a while and get a feel of what you want to change on the "canned tune" good luck

Take it easy on the shift firmness. Our transmisions don't like the firmness up very high.Which level are you running?Increase the WOT fuel slightly and it will pull harder up top.I think i have mine increased by like 10%Run some times by increasing fuel and see what works best on your truck

I haven't really messed with the firmness since mine is manual. Right now I have it on level 3 but I'm thinking of going down to 2 since gas prices are so high.
