2007 & Edge
Edge changed their available updates on 4-18. You only have one firmware and one calibration and they are both labeled Release(Stable). They added about 10 hex codes, col for you guys whose hex are supported, still sux for me

If so, do you really want to play roulette with your pcm? It's not like they are paying you to do this ... wait for a stable, production release.
If you are still having issues, then it is NOT working. Going in to failsafe is SERIOUSLY not good!
Crystal ball sees a 'no-start' a tow & a dealer reflash in your future! LOL!

After a day of tinkering mine is working on level 2 with tire and gear changes. I also firmed up the shift points a bit. But, if I try anything else like firmer shift points or timing it throws the truck into failsafe mode. Its running good right now so I am keeping it that way until another couple updates.

Gunny will get his Edge next week if not sooner. Masone you won't get the Xcal for at least 1 month and that is if you order today. Atleast that is what i've been seeing. It takes awhile to get custom tunes.

I expect to hear from Chris soon on the tunes and I need to sit on both hands to keep from checking my email software!
Feel like a kid at Christmas time.

I would guess you still have another couple weeks on the tunes.

I am to, but after reading what Andy-jr wrote I thought I'd go back and look for a post I remembered reading awhile back. Here it is (post #10);
Basically it says that they normally take 18-22 business days from the time they got your sheets (so in my case I sent my sheets in March 19th so today makes the 27th business day since I sent in my sheets). I would be expecting my tunes any day now until I read the part that states that Mike got 7 project vehicles that put them about 2.5 weeks behind.
I certainly hope it's sooner than a couple more weeks as this wait is getting more and more agonizing. I keep checking my email 3 or 4 times a day hoping that they are in there.

I hate to give you the bad news but MIke is very bussy, I ordered mine on January 26th and I just got them this past Monday. I knew there was a wait time so it was ok for me. Just remember that good (great) things come to those who wait.

Got it from Ebay. I guess I'll see how it turns out. I really didnt feel like waiting months for something. I'm sure Troyers product is well worth the $, but I would think that they would increase production to meet the consumers demand. You dont see just one Subway do you?
..anyway, I rolled the dice, we'll see what happens.
Ahh... the 'Instant Gratification' crowd is still alive & well
The comparison to Subway is lame. Any monkey can slap a sub sandwich together. Far fewer can tune these tucks properly, and only ONE has been doing if for 15+ years, and has the most experience doing so.
Those of us who waited, while it was not easy, consider it more than well worth the time it takes for one consummate professional to work his magic.
A suit off the rack, or a tailored one. One looks 'ok', the other looks & fits perfect.
I'll take quality over quantity any day. And - I can make a far better sandwich than Subway or any other fast food 'choke&puke' can. Will take me longer, though.
Your choice.

MGDfan,
I take it that you are the self appointed spokes person for Troyer Performance? I haven't seen any positive posts from you about anything expect TP. I wasn't bashing TP, just voicing my opinion.
My reference about Subway was merely a comment suggesting that TP expand their business based on supply and demand. If you have a good thing going why not expand. The waiting time seems to be a turn off for some.
I'm sure the "Magic" that Mike does can be taught because I'm willing to bet that most of this is data base related. After all, I'm sure Bill Gates doesn't write code for Microsoft anymore, he has employees that do that.
