What program did you guys download? I updated mine and tried to program lvl2 and got a CHECKSUM Failed. Now my edge wont return my truck to stock. It says it is programed to a different vehicle. Right now I like the tune but now my edge is useless

did you buy the edge used? I think that is the only way it won't work. And you shouldn't have any issues with a 2005 truck... call edge and see what they can do for you.

P0605 PCM Processor Rom Error

I have driven it a total of 100 mile and have returned it to stock while waiting for upgrade or decide to send it back. I still love the way the truck feels and like the gauges. Thanks for all the other nice feedback.

Bob

I also have a 2007 f150 and had the same problem with the same DTC code. Just update the edge to the newest firmware and the newest tune, they will say "UNSTABLE" next to them. But don't worrie, I've been running then for a good month or so with no problems what so ever. These newest updates will get rid of this CEL. BTW the P0605 PCM ROM Error code just means that the PCM's ROM has been changed from stock. Nothing to worrie about.

Mine works fine with the new download.
I have the xcalII for my Lightning with custom JDM tunes for the track.
I like the guage features on the edge.

Alright mine is working, but still has issues. I can program level 2 and change tire size and gear ratio. When I try to change shift firmness it throws me into limp mode. I feel better about it though and just seeing the amount of updates coming out makes me think this will work out. I can't remember the version, but it was new as of 4/18 so if you haven't done one since then you should.

Is the release labelled 'beta' or 'unstable'?

If so, do you really want to play roulette with your pcm? It's not like they are paying you to do this ... wait for a stable, production release.

If you are still having issues, then it is NOT working. Going in to failsafe is SERIOUSLY not good!

Crystal ball sees a 'no-start' a tow & a dealer reflash in your future! LOL!

I am pretty sure it said Beta. The truck is fine now, but can anyone explain Failsafe mode and what it means.
