Who has had problems with the Edge and who hasn't?

How long have you had your Edge and has anything gone wrong with it. If something has gone wrong with it then please say what problems you are having and what made this happen. If you have had no problems then please just say how long you have had it. I am debating on weather to buy one or not but I just dont want to ruin or have any problems with my truc kthat might jeprodize its value or reliabilty.

Thumbs up Dude...

If you don't want to jepordize reliability, don't deviate from stock.

That being said, I consider the Edge Evolution a "safe" gamble. Do your search for Edge, and read through all the threads.

I have had the Edge for a month, and I pretty much fool with it every other day... which.. you really don't need to do at all, I am really "playing" for fun. And, with all the changes I have made, It's only locked up twice. The fix was .. unplug it, and plug it back in. It never affected the running of the truck. I have taken it on 200 mile drives, sporting around town, and its been in temp's below 0 degrees.... only need to test the heat od summer really. If you do the search, you'll find me explaining why I think the thing is such a great product.

Now take off that pink tutu you're wearin', and spend your money!

Had mine just under a year. Tow on a regular basis and it is really nice to have the gauge package. The only problem I had was when I tried to update using Windows ME. For some reason it didn't like my computer. I have since upgraded to XP and have had no issues. I like the extra punch that the Edge gives the truck, especially when towing.

I just hit a year and took it on a 3000 mile road trip with zero problems. Love the unit and makes a pretty big difference. I have about 10k on the unit it self.

In my opinion, a high percentage of the problems that were discussed on the site were operator error. There have been a few that were not, but not very many.

I've had mine for 2 weeks. Ran 1 week just monitoring with guages.
Downloaded latest STABLE release from Edge. Currently running level 1 with modified axle ratio & tire size. No problems.

I have used my edge on two trucks a 2004 and 2006 and the only problem was downloading the updates from the website. But it was my pc acting up. I would highly recommend the edge you won't be sorry.

I've had my Edge on my 2006 KR for about 8000 miles and still runs great. It really need it after the lift and tires. It has only locked up and wouldn't display in really, really cold temps. (like -20 and below), but I would just unplug it and plug it back in and everything came up fine. Also, if you turn the truck off and restart it right away before the edge can rest, it locks up. Again just do the same as before. Anyways, I would recommend getting it casue it is awsome!!!
