I was wondering if anyone in here has advanced the timing on their lv3 tune? I get 93 where I live. I was wondering if there were any suggestions?

 

Well your not much above sea level in central TX, but you are running 93 octane..........you should be able bump it up one.

 

Just follow the instruction manual and all will be well. I've been running 93 on level 2 for over a year now and it's all good.

With level three and 93 octane, I have run +1.5 for several months. Then when they started adding ethanol, I got some ping, so backed off to +1.0. It all depends on your truck and the gas in your area. Set it and try it, if it pings under hard acceleration, back it off some.

Yes it is. I have had to put my truck back to stock once, when I took it in to the dealer. Would hate to have to drive it stock all the time.
