Talking I will be edged!!!

I ordered my Evo today. And it should be here tomorrow according to the supplier I went to. He told me it will be next day mail from ATL, so I have that little kid before Christmas feeling going on.

I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!

What are you guys running for the stock 18 FX4 rims? I remember reading that some of you guys/gals said that our stock ECU is reading the tire size as 17's.

My buddy just installed one in his truck, we just drove around for 2 hours tuning his truck. His 04 single cab shortbed 4.6L woke up. I am totally impressed with everything about the Edge Evolution. I will be ordering mine for my 03 next week.

Well, it came today. Im reading over the instructions right now. Didnt get a chance to put it in today, between working and this stupid storm that hit us over here on the east coast. Maybe tomorrow. Im just wondering, do I really need to update it from the website or anything? I have heard some say they went to update,,,,and then it didnt work. I dont want it to not work after I just dumped this money into it.

You should not have to update for an 05 truck. The Edge comes with all the updates from 04 to mid 06.

Also I keep seeing post about "BETA" and 2100 and 2400. What the heck is that about? I see 2400 on my unit. But I dont know what that means. Is that a series number or something? Or just a number to state when the unit was made? I know I should know all this already. But, I dont.
