Does Anyone Have A Horror Story Or Should I Stop Worriying And Just Do It (no Matter What The Wife Says)?

Just wish i had the tunes since ive paid for it though. I had my truck reflashed from the dealer and so i had them send out the blank xcal to determin my code and i had to pay for it when they sent it. But ill be waiting a month yet before i get it which kinda sucks but im sure it will be well worth the wait.
Hell, im about out of warrenty so oh well LOL....i honestly have NEVER seen a thread that has been negative towards teh Xcal2. Many about the edge though. Mike Troyer and his team are really friendly and great to deal with.
Grow some ***** and get it. Cars and trucks are meant to be driven. If you ever break it, you can rebuild it or buy a better one
Actually, a tune from somebody like TP will bring your truck up to its optimum performance level. You won't hurt it unless you break the rules.
Ford has to make their trucks to suit everybody. That means it has to perform adequately on nasty gas, at -40 in Alaska or towing a trailer through Death Valley in the summer at 99,000 miles showing on the original spark plugs.
The factory tuning is a compromise.
Call TP, discuss your tuning needs and take it from there. Trust me, you won't be sorry.

The XCal2 with Mike’s custom tuning has been the best performance mod I’ve done; the way to go IMO. If you hurry up you can catch the “Group Buy” before it ends; only 4 days left
The next Troyer Performance Group Buy!!
get it while the getting good
The next Troyer Performance Group Buy!!
