Optional parameters in XCal2???

Will tinkering around with the optional parameters on my 91 performance (or any tune) in the xcal2 overwrite the tunes from Troyer? Or will it just apply the settings to "that" tune only and next time i retune the 91 will it be Troyers tune again?

The only tunes in it is Troyer's... as far as does it just rewrite just what you changed or rewrite the whole PCM again on a change of optional parameters, I would guess it rewrite the whole tune... but, you would have to ask Mike, as I have never had a need to "tinker"...

i think it just modifies those parameters for that upload- everytime i switch from 87 tow to 93, i have to re-enter my tire size (as the the one that is set by troyer is my old tire size)

i'm curious because i was reading a ford magazine at work were they installed a cold air intake and a cat back system. After they installed the cat back, the truck would hesitate a little on WOT, so they pulled A/F and seen that the truck leaned out on WOT. so they took there xcal2 and then bumped up the fuel on WOT so it wouldn't lean out anymore. My truck has a little hesitation on WOT and was thinking this was the same problem for me. Since i dont have the mnoney to have a dyno pull with A/F, i was just going to try and bump the fuel up on WOT. but if its going to mess with all of the Troyer tunes, then i'm not going to mess with it,

its not going to mess with the tunes, you can always change it back, but you have to be careful doing that... Speak with Troyer first.
