What's the difference?
what's the difference between the AF1 intake and the K&N 77 series intake for 97 and up f-150's?
|
There are many. K&N has been around very long and pretty much sets the bar for quality air intakes. They back up their product pretty good. The 77 is a polished chrome aluminum pipe with a 6 inch filter at the end. The AF1 is a polished stainless steel pipe with a 3 inch filter. I like the looks of the K&N. Either one will yield about the same gains, but I trust K&N more. Someone will come along soon to chime in their opinion. Just my 2 cents

Take A look at the brute force intakes. No need to oil the filter..

The Air Force 1 is the recommended CAI from Troyer Performance and they haven't let me down thus far. Click below for the gallery with pics of my AF1.
Good luck whatever you choose though! |
