Downloading & datalogging

Which opperating system is best for downloading and datalogging, windows or mac/apple.The reason I ask is that my xcal2 is on order.I have a Windows xp desktop comp.and an Apple powerbook notebook comp..Which one would be easiest to set up and use with the xcal2.Thanks

Well,I guess I should have read the discription notes on TP web site before asking this question.So whatever comments you all come up with I deserve them.

They recommend XP, but a laptop is the prefered way to go. What a predicament! Not sure if they have a Mac version.
