SuperChips FlashPaq ???
SuperChips FlashPaq ???
When I was in the market for a tuner I called superchips and asked a few questions about their 1745 and they mentioned their flashpaq. I asked if the tuning was better and The only difference they mentioned was the ability to download updates over the internet INSTEAD of having to ship it in for updates and that it was pretty much the same. 150 dollars difference to download updates is ridiculous in my opinion. So from what I was informed by the techs at superchips it seems that the Flashpaq is the newest latest and greatest presentation of the 1745. I don't believe it is worth the extra money. It just came out last wednesday. There are other tuners out there so it depends on how much you want to spend.

Hi kirkb,
The Flashpaq with the "standard" Superchips tuning does not get you any additional gains over their present units - it is simply a newer style unit that has more updated features - and in the future, once they get their custom tuning (Superchips Racing) program up & running, they will be using the Flashpaq unit for their dealers to load custom tuning into - so it's really a product that is designed for the future, and does not offer present owners who would get the same "standard" Superchips tuning if ordered now, any performance advantages - that would come later on, and only via custom tuning.
The hot tip for those who want to get the best results is to go with our Troyer Performance custom tuning loaded into the XCalibrator 2, which is the most advanced hand-held tuner on the market - and you get our custom tuning, which is what will get you the best results in these vehicles, as we've specialized in F-series tuning for 14 years - this is why so many people here come to us for their tuning needs, as we're well known for our results in these vehicles.
In fact, right now we are running a Group Buy on our custom tuning - so if you will check out the "Group Buy" section of these message boards, you will find all the info on that - that is a great way to get into the best custom F-series tuning at a great price, so your timing is excellent given that we're currently running that Group Buy.
Here's the link to take you to that post: https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=227214
And of course, please feel free to call us with any questions you may have about any aspect of tuning for your vehicle, we'll be happy to help.
Thank for your post, & good luck with your truck!
